The only place to buy linen
Based in North Perth Western Australia, we are a very small team. Everyone helps out where we can, working hard to source and supply good quality fabrics, so we can enjoy are weekly cake Fridays.
All our linens meet the Oeko-Tex standard, we only use mills which are certified and checked yearly. Simon the owner of Potters has been in the business for 25 plus years and built up a solid relationship with our mills. We really pride ourselves on this as we know we can trust the mills we use for quality and standard.
This is a simple 21W cord. This cotton rich cord uses BCI cotton which is a global not-for-profit organisation and the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world. Licensed BCI Farmers produce cotton in a way that cares for the environment, minimising the negative effects of fertilisers and pesticides, and caring for water, soil health and natural habitats. Works at the farm also supply decent work principles – conditions that support workers’ safety and well being. Find out more.
This cloth uses thin, separated single filament yarn for the wrap, while bringing out the cotton texture of the weft. The cloth is light and voluminous. The finishing process gives the material a full-bodied expression with a natural feeling face.
Rope dyed denim is recognised as the highest quality indigo denim dyeing technique. This is due to the high level of colour uniformity and the rich colour that is achieved. Other dying methods such as slasher dyeing where the yarn is soaked in indigo baths, will not produce an even and consistent colour shade throughout the width and length.
