Potter & Co is a Western Australian based company and was created from our sister company Potter Textiles. We focus on supplying high quality, beautiful linen to the Australian retail market. With a lack of fabric shops in WA we have developed and expanded our retail presence to encourage home sewing, in an industry where there are so many mass produced products. We appreciate the value of handmade garments and would love to inspired new and old home sewers to create unique pieces they cherish.

Potter Textiles is a wholesale textile merchant. We have been supplying fabric to the Australian and New Zealand fashion industry since 1999.
Originally started by Simon Potter who is 5th generation Potter to work in the textile industry.
Same Potters, new energy – meet Sheona
1st July 2025, long time team member Sheona Cowden has taken over the business. My plan moving forward isn’t to reinvent Potters, but to keep building on what already makes it so special: quality textiles. At its heart, Potters has always stood for quality, creativity, and connection. That won’t changed.
It is hard to replace Simon’s legacy and the Potter name. The rag trade has been in his family for 5 generations and it is so inspiring. But somehow I feel like I am a Potter by heart. I have so much passion for this business and I know I can help keep the textiles and fashion industry alive in Australia.
