Colour: Brisk in the Rosewater colourway is a cool, dusty pink with a lovely softness and depth. It's more muted than a traditional bright baby pink, with a slightly dusky quality that gives it a more grown-up, understated feel. Rosewater is fully opaque, making it a great option for a range of garments without the need for a lining.

Quality Information: Brisk is a smooth, lightweight cotton poplin with a compact, tightly woven finish. At 125gsm, it strikes a lovely balance between weight and versatility, making it suitable for both outer and inner garments. It's opaque in most of its more pigmented colourways, while white is semi-opaque and some of the lighter shades may have a little more translucency.

The fabric has a very subtle sheen that gives it a lovely sense of quality and a luxurious finish without looking overly glossy. There's also a slight crispness or 'crunch' to the handle, giving Brisk enough structure to hold its shape beautifully. This makes it a great option for more sculptural pieces, while still being easy to wear in everyday garments like trousers, skirts, shirts and dresses.

We only use mills which are certified and checked yearly. Potter Textiles has been in the business for 25 plus years and built up a solid relationship with the mills we work with and sourcing agents. We really pride ourselves on this as we know we can trust the mills we use for quality and standard.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in Warm water. Do not Soak, Bleach or Wring. Drip Dry or Dry without delay away from direct Heat. Warm Iron. Dry Cleanable.

Shrinkage: Our cottons have minimal shrinkage about 2-3%, if any. This because of the high quality yarn and the different washes we apply during production you will find they don’t shrink at all. But as a precaution we ask all our customers to wash there fabric before sewing, just in case…
