Colour: Sombre in Smoke features a classic plaid check over a dark indigo base, crossed with dusty dove-blue and light beige-gold fawn stripes. The wider dove-blue stripes measure approximately 2cm, while the finer gold-fawn stripes add a delicate 5mm contrast throughout the pattern. A subtle gradient along the edges of the dove-blue stripes creates a soft transition between colours, adding depth and dimension to the check. With an overall repeat of 12cm, the pattern feels balanced and considered, combining cool, muted blues with warm, earthy neutrals for a timeless look.

Quality: Woven from cotton, Sombre has a smooth, soft handle with a subtle stiffness that gives the fabric a little structure without feeling rigid. Its fine weave creates a neat, even surface, and the fabric is completely opaque. Lightweight and easy to wear, it is a great choice for summer shirts, dresses, skirts and shorts, as well as transeasonal layering pieces that bring a little colour to your wardrobe.
