Globe is the same base as our running line Lottie. It is an open weave linen with a natural crinkle running down.

This stripe was developed exclusively by Potter Textiles for our summer range to match back with our plain colours in Lottie linen, milled exclusively for us. Unfortunately, we cannot control if our weaving mills copy and sell our exclusive designs to other customers.

This quality will soften increasingly with wash and wear - like all linen it gets better with time…

All our linens meet the Oeko-Tex standard, we only use mills which are certified and checked yearly. Simon the owner of Potters has been in the business for 25 plus years and built up a solid relationship with the mills we work with and sourcing agents. We really pride ourselves on this as we know we can trust the mills we use for quality and standard.

Use

Globe linen is perfect for dresses and tops. Due to the sheer nature of the fabric it may need to be lined depending on the garment and customers preference.

Care instructions

Hand wash in Warm water. Do not Soak, Bleach or Wring. Drip Dry or Dry without delay away from direct Heat. Warm Iron. Dry Cleanable.

Shrinkage 

Our linen has minimal shrinkage about 2-3% if any. This because of the high quality yarn and the different washes we apply during production you will find they don’t shrink at all. But as a precaution we ask all our customers to wash there fabric before sewing, just in case…

Origin 

All the flax yarn we sourced to produce our linen is from France and Belgium and sent to China to be milled.
