Japanese yarn-dyed twill denim with silk noil. 

Composition: 80% Cotton 20% Silk

Width: 115 - 117cm

Colour: Delsa Silk Denim is a beautifully modern take on a classic hickory stripe. Its base is a washed black with soft white flecks scattered throughout, giving the fabric an organic, lived-in appearance. These white speckles are created by the silk noil woven into the cloth, with tiny tufts of silk sitting naturally within the twill weave to add subtle texture and character. Crisp white hickory stripes, measuring approximately 1.5mm wide, run the length of the fabric and repeat every 17mm.

Quality: Delsa Silk Denim has the familiar structure and durability of a classic medium-weight denim, making it an excellent choice for jeans, trousers, skirts, jackets, overshirts and everyday utility-inspired garments. While it holds its shape beautifully, the face of the fabric is noticeably softer than a traditional denim thanks to the addition of silk noil. The fabric is woven in a twill using bourette (silk noil) yarns, which are spun from the shorter fibres left over after silk processing. Rather than producing a smooth, lustrous finish, silk noil creates the characteristic flecks and tiny tufts visible on the surface.

Care instructions: Hand wash in warm water. Do not soak, bleach or wring. Drip dry or dry without delay away from direct heat. Warm iron. Dry cleanable.
