Colour: Picnic Tartan in the Midnight colourway features a dark-to-mid blue base crossed with bands of cream, deep navy and a vibrant red-orange stripe with a rosy pink undertone. Four fine cream stripes sit closely together to form a wider band, with a doubled dark navy stripe running beneath and a thin red-orange-rose stripe adding a bright pop of contrast across the check. The combination of blues and warm accents gives this classic tartan a rich, balanced look.

Quality: Woven in a twill, Picnic Tartan has a soft, textured handle, thanks to both the weave and the naturally soft cotton fibres. Its weight gives it a slightly brushed, wool-like feel, making it a lovely option for winter garments without the characteristic itchiness of wool. It would work particularly well for lined coats, warm trousers and other trans-seasonal pieces that call for a little extra substance and comfort.

Care instructions: Gentle machine wash. Drip dry or tumble dry. Hot iron. Dry cleanable.
