Japanese yarn-dyed dobby weave with striped, three-dimensional fringing.

Composition: 50% Cotton 32% Polyester 18% Rayon

Colour: Truffle Ruffle features a rich winter palette of dark purple, soft grey-lilac, rich milk chocolate and warm beige. The design is comprised of two different-sized dobby weave checks that alternate across the width of the fabric. The larger check is woven with 2mm-wide vertical stripes, evenly spaced, and crossed with alternating 2mm and 1mm horizontal stripes spaced at 2mm intervals, creating a softly defined twill check in dark purple, milk chocolate and beige. Beside this sits a finer check, woven from delicate 1mm stripes evenly spaced 1mm apart in soft grey-lilac, dark purple and rich milk chocolate. Each vertical check repeat measures approximately 4.5cm and is separated by the sweetest rows of delicate ruffled threads in lilac, dark purple and milk chocolate. The combination of intricate woven checks and playful fringing creates beautiful depth, texture and visual interest while maintaining a refined, understated look.

Quality: Truffle Ruffle is an exquisitely woven Japanese dobby fabric that pairs intricate texture with a soft, lightweight handle. The woven check sections are smooth and flat, allowing the delicate ruffled threads to stand proud of the surface and create a subtle three-dimensional fringed effect. The fringing is light and airy rather than bulky, adding movement and tactile interest without compromising the fabric's drape. The reverse side of the cloth is completely flat, with no exposed fringing, making it smooth and comfortable against the skin. This fabric is breathable thanks to its high cotton content, while the polyester lends durability and stability, and the rayon contributes softness and fluidity.
