Colour: Brisk in the Sky colourway is a soft, pale blue reminiscent of a clear sky, with a lovely baby-blue quality. It's light and fresh without feeling overly bright, making it a gentle, easy-to-wear shade of blue. As is common with lighter-coloured fabrics, it has a subtle degree of translucency, but with a lining or pale undergarments, you should be perfectly comfortable wearing it as a standalone garment.

Quality Information: Brisk is a smooth, lightweight cotton poplin with a compact, tightly woven finish. At 125gsm, it strikes a lovely balance between weight and versatility, making it suitable for both outer and inner garments. It's opaque in most of its more pigmented colourways, while white is semi-opaque and some of the lighter shades may have a little more translucency.

The fabric has a very subtle sheen that gives it a lovely sense of quality and a luxurious finish without looking overly glossy. There's also a slight crispness or 'crunch' to the handle, giving Brisk enough structure to hold its shape beautifully. This makes it a great option for more sculptural pieces, while still being easy to wear in everyday garments like trousers, skirts, shirts and dresses.

We only use mills which are certified and checked yearly. Potter Textiles has been in the business for 25 plus years and built up a solid relationship with the mills we work with and sourcing agents. We really pride ourselves on this as we know we can trust the mills we use for quality and standard.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in Warm water. Do not Soak, Bleach or Wring. Drip Dry or Dry without delay away from direct Heat. Warm Iron. Dry Cleanable.

Shrinkage: Our cottons have minimal shrinkage about 2-3%, if any. This because of the high quality yarn and the different washes we apply during production you will find they don’t shrink at all. But as a precaution we ask all our customers to wash there fabric before sewing, just in case…

Origin: Our cotton is all grown and sourced in China. China is one of the biggest producers of cotton in the world.
