Colour: Percy Corduroy in the Rust colourway is a rich, earthy red with plenty of depth. It leans more towards red than orange, with a lovely red-dirt warmth that feels grounded and natural rather than bright or fiery. It's a muted, deeper take on rust, offering plenty of colour without the vibrancy of a fire-engine red. The natural variation from the corduroy wales and the way the velvety pile catches the light creates the familiar subtle stripe effect, adding texture and dimension to the colour.

Quality Information:

Percy is a 14-wale stretch corduroy, with a smooth finish on the reverse and a soft, velvety pile on the face. The 14-wale count refers to the number of raised cords per inch; the lower the number, the wider and more pronounced the cords. This is a fairly standard wale size, giving you plenty of that lovely velvety texture, along with approximately 2% stretch for added comfort and movement. It has a good amount of give while still behaving like a traditional corduroy.

*Corduroy has a directional pile, known as a nap. Brushing your hand one way will flatten the surface, while brushing it the opposite way will lift the fibres and create a fuzzier appearance. This can affect how the colour looks depending on the direction of the pile. We recommend allowing for nap when purchasing your meterage and cutting all garment pieces in the same direction for a consistent finish.
