Light weight linen blend 106gsm
Composition: 72% Lyocell 28% Linen
Width: 134cm
La Belle is a yarn dyed linen Lyocell blend. It is a fairly open weave giving it a gauzy look. The cloth has a crinkle running down the fabric created by high twist yarn. this gives it a beautiful texture and drape. Each colour in this range is developed and milled exclusively for us.
This quality will soften increasingly with wash and wear - like all linen it gets better with time…
All our linens meet the Oeko-Tex standard, we only use mills which are certified and checked yearly. Simon the owner of Potters has been in the business for 25 plus years and built up a solid relationship with the mills we work with and sourcing agents. We really pride ourselves on this as we know we can trust the mills we use for quality and standard.
Use
La Belle linen is perfect for dresses and tops. Due to the sheer nature of the fabric it may need to be lined depending on the garment and customers preference.
Care instructions
Hand wash in Warm water. Do not Soak, Bleach or Wring. Dripe Dry or Dry without delay away from direct Heat. Warm Iron. Dry Cleanable.
Shrinkage
Our linen has minimal shrinkage about 2-3% if any. This because of the high quality yarn and the different washes we apply during production you will find they don’t shrink at all. But as a precaution we ask all our customers to wash there fabric before sewing, just in case…
Origin
All the flax yarn we sourced to produce our linen is from France and Belgium and sent to China to be milled.
The Tencel yarn is a branded Lyocell. which is produced by environmentally responsible processes from the sustainably sourced natural raw material wood.
